처음 갤로퍼를 작업해봐야 겠다고 생각했을때는
그저 캠핑용으로 예쁘게 꾸밀 생각이였다.
그러나 여러 정보를 찾고 공부하면서 그 컨셉을 바뀌었다.
"더 나아가 소장의 가치, 나만의 갤로퍼를 만들어야 겠어."
그 생각으로 다시 처음부터 차의 컨셉과 결과물을 예측하면서
작업에 들어갔다.
처음엔 그저 내 만족으로 시작하면서 제대로된 블로그도 올리지도 않았고
제대로된 사진도 찍지 않았다.
중이 제머리 못깍는다고 난 특별한 일이 아니면 카메라를 들지 않는다.
여기저기 찍어대는게 오히려 프로답지 않다는 개똥철학때문인지도...
업체에 오고가고 하면서 그냥 손에 잡히는대로 폰카로 대충 찍어댄것이 전부...
그것도 폰카로서 제일 후지다는 갤럭시...헐...
(정말 후졌다...ㅡㅜ)
이렇게 시간이 흘러보니
이녀석을 처음 데리고 올라올때 모습조차 담아 놓은게 없다.
조금은 아쉬운 맘에 폰카에 담아두었던, 몇몇 카페에 잠시 소개용으로 사용했던
폰사진을 정리해서 후기로 올려본다...
처음 데리고 와서 숙고끝에 선정된 도색공업사에 입고 시킨후...
이게 내가 담아놓은가장 원래의 녀석과 근접한 모습이다...
너무 해체를 해서 좀 초라하지만... 상태는 만족할만 했다.
탈거하고 뜯어진 내외장은 이렇게 모아서 다... 버려졌다...
도장은 이렇게 내외장재, 유리까지 모두 다 탈거하고 전체도색을 했다.
이렇게 해달라니 또 40만원 추가다.
이정도까지 오면 돈이 문제가 아니다.
중요한건 제대로된 작업이다.
도색작업은 다시 작업할 수 있는 간단한 것이 아니기에...
내장 바닥도 다 들어낸 후 언더코팅으로 도색을 한번 더 마감했다.
그리고 전체 바닥에 방진패드와 신슈레이터 작업이 되었고
그위에 매트가 새로 깔렸다..
도장 완료후 외장재 조립에 들어갔다.
모든 외장재는 가니쉬, 범퍼 등등 모두 신품이다.
부품을 구하는데 많은 시간이 걸려서 오랫동안 서 있었고
근 2달 가까운 시간이 걸렸다.
마지막 라이트까지 조립완료된 모습....
썬팅 시공후...
루마썬팅으로 전체 5%, 전면 35%...
스코젠의 라이트가드 장착.
하체정비와 언더코팅, 기본 경정비, 인치업 등을 마치고
근 두달전부터 전국을 뒤지며 구해온 BF32MT를 겨우겨우 4짝완비~
장착을 시작했다.
가장 만족했던 작업이고 두달간 끈질기에 31인치나 한국타이어를 권하는것을 뿌리치고
고집을 피운 결과이다.
가장 클래식하고 스틸휠 느낌이 강한 머드락 중고휠을 구입해서
휠재생업체로 넘어갔다.
휠재생작업을 하면서 반광블랙(무광과 유광의 중간)으로 도색작업을마무리했다.
타이어를 5짝을 준비하고 있었는데 겨우 4짝을 구했고
나머지 한짝은 아직도 못구했다...ㅡㅜ
머드락휠은 사양이 -30옵셋에 8.5J, 15인치이다.
옵셋이 -30임에도 불구하고 전륜은 휀다베이스와 보기좋게 딱 맞아 떨어지나
후륜이 2% 아쉬웠다...
그래서 선택한 허브스페이스 20mm...
이제야 내가 원하던 자세의 완성이다.
아름답지 아니한가...
아쉽게도 실내 작업을 할땐 작업과정을 사진에담은게 없다.
하체작업을 할때도 없고... 귀찮았나 보다.
작업이 다 마무리되면 제대로 멋지게 찍어주고 싶은 마음에...^^;;;
내가 이번 작업에 가장 중요하게 생각했던 부분이고
신경을 많이 쓴 부분이다.
갤로퍼 초창기 파제로 디자인으로 복원하는 프로젝트!
이번 내 실내작업의 모토가 된 파제로 스페셜버젼 실내이다...
모두가 어렵다고만 했을때 지성이면 감천이라고
포기하지 않으면 이루어 진다.
